Sabeen Shaikh is an executive with nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry between corporate and innovation roles.  Her leadership ranges between those with large multi-national companies and large businesses to executive roles for scaling start-ups. 

The commercial roles capture the US and Australian markets especially, while the consulting and advisory roles are global with innovative start-ups, corporate partners, governments, peak society bodies and venture capital firms.  

Sabeen’s expertise is focused on commercialising new technologies to the markets, scaling businesses through commercial leadership, change management and developing effective corporate strategies.  

Sabeen also works within the due diligence process for corporate and venture capital partners.  She has worked with hundreds of start-ups on their commercialisation journeys and is passionate about the opportunities to push innovations forward serving new markets.  

Sabeen sits on the Boards of several start-ups that are focused in personal and professional passion areas.

Sabeen studied in the US for her undergraduate degree and has continued further executive education with INSEAD Business School.  She has also done programs on innovation with Harvard Medical School and MIT Business School.

Sabeen is passionate about healthcare access to underserved populations globally, with a strong interest in new technologies for unmet medical needs.  She speaks on national and regional platforms about global innovation trends, innovation ecosystem build-outs to drive success and global expansion strategies.
