Sabeen Shaikh is an executive with 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry between corporate and innovation roles. Her leadership ranges between those with large multi-national companies, to overseeing business operations for a national accelerator program in Australia, to sitting in as an executive for scaling start-ups. The commercial roles capture the US and Australian markets, while the consulting and advisory roles are with innovative start-ups from all around the globe. Sabeen’s expertise is focused in commercialising new technologies to the markets, scaling businesses through commercial leadership, and developing effective go-to-market launch strategies. She has worked with over 300 start-ups on their commercialisation journeys and is passionate about the opportunities to push innovation forward arising in the Asia-Pacific region.
Sabeen studied in the US for her undergraduate degree and has continued further executive education with INSEAD Business School. She has also done programs on innovation with Harvard Medical School and MIT Business School.
Sabeen is passionate about healthcare access to underserved populations globally, with a strong interest in new technologies for unmet medical needs. She speaks on national and regional platforms about innovation trends in Asia-Pacific, reverse innovation and the needs for corporates to expand their acquisition strategies.
